Christ Church Youth Program

Greetings from Matt Whitt, Youth Missioner. Christ Church has wonderful programs for teens of Gardiner and surrounding areas. Any kid 6th grade through 12th grade can find something to be involved in. We invite you to come check things out and experience a loving community of faith and friendship.

We also have a growing program for parents of teens called Parent Connections please read on for more details.

Youth & Family Programs

Youth Group Nights
A time to spend with peers in an environment that allows questions to be asked and answers to be discussed. Our night programs officially end at 6:30 (middle school) and 8:00 (High School), but all are welcome to a time of hang out at the Brick house, where we will watch TV, play video games, just chill and hang out with friends.

 Middle School-Wednesday Night 5:00-6:30

Students grades 6-8

Meets in the youth room at the church

A night of fun, we eat dinner, play games, hang out and talk.  Come by yourself or with friends.  If it is nice outside we will probably be outside if it isn’t we will find some great games to play indoors.

High School-Thursday Night 6:00-8:00

Students grades 9-12

Meets at Brick-house (Apt B) across the parking lot from the church

Cooking, hanging out, and talking.  Do you need a place where “everybody knows your name” see if we can be a group you can feel comfortable with and care about.  We boast good food, good hangout and no pressure.

Parent Connections

Monthly meeting for parents of all kids grades 5-12.

Meets in the upstairs fellowship hall 1st Saturday of the month from 6:30-8:30.

We are a fellowship group to connect parents with other parents.  Our goal is to connect new parents with experienced parents, provide a safe place to talk about the joys and difficulties of parenting and find a Christian perspective on many issues of parenting.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
If you like to hang out with youth, want to serve God, are good with an instrument, can sing, can organize, like to speak to kids, like to do outdoors stuff, can cook, can bake, can teach, like to clean, like to make phone calls, like photography, want to help, pray, or any other skill please let us know. We need you, and no skill is too small - God often moves most through things that humans find insignificant. Don’t think you are too old, too slow, too busy, too mean, if you have the will to serve the youth or Gardiner and surrounding areas we can help you find a place in working with them.
